Hate
Why this much hate… I wonder… 100s killed, terrorists, again. It looks so redundat, but sadly this is the media making it as shallow as celeb news… Only one thing could cause this much hate… you wonder? can’t guess?!

Thankshallowistmas
Thankshallowistmas (Urban Dictionary) A merged holiday including Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, coined under Bill Maher’s “New Rules.” Thankshallowistmas - now you only have to gather with your batshit family once a year.

marco: John Brissenden: OK, I’ll start. It’s a tie between Safari 3.x and Mail. Safari because it’s slow, and temperamental - I’ll do the slow and temperamental around here, thank you very much - and so much worse than the boring-but-at-least-it-worked 2.x. Mail for pretty much the same reasons, and especially because it’s the poor man’s GMail. Andrew Fox: Mail is awful. Safari is...

I'm watching the IT Crowd
tmblg: I don’t get what the fuss is about. Why do people like this show? The laugh track is totally annoying - it feels like something from the early 80’s. Should I stick with this? Am I missing something? The strange thing is that it doesn’t lok funny at all, but you stick to it and start laughing with it!

The Like Feature
tmblg: Can someone please explain the “Like” feature to me? I like that I can bookmark things that I find interesting but don’t want to reblog, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to view things I’ve liked, and reblogs have significantly decreased. Fewer reblogs = less new content. What’s the idea behind it? My personal view: I don’t think it’s a reblog replacement (no way!) and I do...

1,000-device personal networks in 2017? →
According to ICT Results in ‘The Network of Everything,’ wireless experts estimate that our personal networks will include about a thousand devices in 2017, including dozens of sensors checking our health and our home. This is why European researchers have launched in 2006 a networking project called ‘MAGNET Beyond.’ The name is an acronym for ‘My personal adaptive Global NET and beyond.’ The...

I just love hearing it!
One sunny day in January, 2009 an old man approached the White House from Across Pennsylvania Avenue, where he’d been sitting on a park bench. He spoke to the U.S. Marine standing guard and said, “I would like to go in and meet with President Bush.” The Marine looked at the man and said, “Sir, Mr. Bush is no longer president and no longer resides here..” The old man...

Question from Boston Herald feature on blog to...
travors: Jed: What’s life like since the book came out? Me: Life has been pretty odd since the book was announced. During the day I still work as an IT Project Manager, then I come home and answer fan mail and do interviews with various online media, newspapers and magazines. It’s like being a celebrity except without the fame, money, parties, notoriety, respect or huge unnecessary mansions.
