Tonight when Maryam & I were passing through the food court (ignoring all that grim looking stuff!) in Dubai Festival City to reach the movie theatre, I noticed how busy McDonald’s outlet is especially comparing to all those less junk food chains! People were queuing for the joy of heaven!

Now I just read in the news that the McDonald’s UAE receives an award for successfully adding to people’s overweight misery:

Emirates Fast Food Company, the owner and operator of McDonald’s UAE received an award during the Gulf Coop celebration which was held recently in Lebanese capital Beirut.

‘Once again, our achievements in the UAE were recognized, and we are confident that the road ahead will be more rewarding. Our commitment to serve high quality products, in a friendly and fun atmosphere and by highly skilled people is the drive behind our success everyday.’

Let’s be happy, McDonald’s is not the first nor the worst epidemic misery that people adopt throughout the history, we’ve seen worse!
